New Moon New You: Connect with Yourself and Nature

  • Beacon Hill Park 100 Cook Street Victoria, BC, V8V 4Z8 Canada (map)

In-Person Free

April 7, 2024 Sunday at Beacon Hill Park, Victoria, Vancouver Island, BC.

Join Dianna Graves and five like-minded women on a serene New Moon walking ceremony during the day from 11 am to 12.
You will learn how to set intention for a life change during the powerful 2 weeks of the New Moon cycle.

The purpose of intention setting is to manifest the change in your life that you want to see, feel, hear, or have. By walking in nature, connecting with yourself, and sharing with others you will easily find the mental clarity, inspiration, and direction that is sometimes hard to do alone in your house.

Our leisurely walk will take place from 11 to 12 pm, come rain or shine. Meet at the front of the animal park (zoo) at 10:50 am and we will walk around the park and contemplate what we want to change over the next month. Then we will share our intention and the steps we commit to taking.

During this event, participants will learn (or continue to practice) a simple yet potent intention setting process that emphasizes mindfulness and intuition while creating doable and meaningful daily actions.

Setting intentions serves as a valuable tool, especially when you're feeling stuck and uncertain about your future. Think of it as placing a GPS point on the map of your life. Every journey becomes smoother and more enjoyable when you have a clear route in mind.

The New Moon, typically appearing mid-month, heralds new beginnings and serves as the perfect opportunity to set intentions and invoke change. Many individuals experience an unexplained yearning for something "new" during this time.

Historically, the monthly moon cycle has symbolized the receptive feminine, mirroring the life-death-rebirth cycle and connecting to the ebb and flow of life energy.

This gathering of like-hearted women during the New Moon is a natural occasion to nurture our feminine spirits and gain clarity on shedding what no longer serves us. It also encourages us to focus on what truly matters.
This is particularly vital for women over 40 who are navigating significant life changes and transitions, as well as those seeking to discover their authentic selves and voices.

This is a good opportunity to go within and gain clarity
about the changes you wish to make in your life.
